Aragon, an open-source platform created to launch decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), has partnered with Polygon Labs

They aim to offer a more accessible and cost-effective solution for creating and managing DAOs. The collaboration will enable users to build and launch DAOs quickly and securely, for as little as 50 cents, with no coding required.

The Aragon-Polygon partnership will leverage Aragon’s “lean codebase” and Polygon’s Layer-2 blockchain to launch DAOs without requiring technical expertise. The decentralized organizations are run through rules encoded as computer programs on a blockchain and rely on a distributed network of stakeholders to make decisions and govern the organization.

By employing fully on-chain technology, the partnership aims to lower the barriers and costs linked with establishing and administering DAOs.

This will enable people worldwide to participate in the process at an affordable rate, and contribute positively to the mass adoption of blockchain technology. The move is a significant step toward increasing the use of blockchain technology in organizational decision-making and governance.

Sandeep Nailwal, the co-founder of Polygon Labs, said the partnership would make on-chain governance accessible to everyone in the world, thereby contributing positively to the mass adoption of blockchain technology.

Aragon and Polygon have a history of collaboration, and the latest partnership follows the successful launch of more than 6,000 DAOs in September 2021, using Aragon’s initial products on Polygon’s platform.

Polygon has released its open-source zkEVM Ethereum scaling technology to the mainnet, a zero-knowledge rollup (ZK-rollups) scaling solution equivalent to the Ethereum Virtual Machine.

The technology allows thousands of transactions to be batched off-chain, reducing transaction costs and increasing the throughput of smart contract deployments.

This will facilitate the reduction of gas fees for decentralized application users and enable developers to copy existing smart contracts to Polygon’s zkEVM easily.

The partnership between Aragon and Polygon offers users a cost-effective and accessible solution for creating and managing DAOs, contributing to the democratization of finance and the wider adoption of blockchain technology.

The development of DAOs will enable a new era of decentralized and transparent decision-making, providing an opportunity for people worldwide to participate in the process at an affordable rate.

This development is a significant step toward increasing the use of blockchain technology in organizational decision making and governance, and it is expected to promote the growth and adoption of decentralized finance (defi).

Polygon And Aragon Partner

In Summary the partnership between Aragon and Polygon Labs is a significant step toward increasing the adoption of blockchain technology in organizational decision-making and governance. By leveraging Aragon’s “lean codebase” and Polygon’s Layer-2 blockchain, users can build and launch DAOs quickly and securely, for as little as 50 cents, with no coding required.

Overall, this partnership offers a cost-effective and accessible solution for creating and managing DAOs, enabling people worldwide to participate in the process at an affordable rate.
