Binance has announced a new partnership with Unstoppable Domains that will allow users to create Web3 domains serving as digital identities.
Through this partnership, Binance.US users will be able to create “.BinanceUS” domains on the Polygon blockchain, which will serve as easily understandable names for their cryptocurrency wallets.
These domains will also function as digital identities on compatible Web3 services and platforms. The service is set to go live in May, and users will be able to withdraw cryptocurrencies to various Unstoppable Domains addresses, including .crypto, .nft, and .x domains.
Binance.US’s Business Development Vice President, Nandini Maheshwari, emphasized that the provision of digital identity ownership is a key factor in this partnership.
He added that increasing accessibility to Web3 while maintaining a safe and secure ecosystem for customers is at the core of Binance.US’s mission.
Unstoppable Domains will be responsible for the custody of all .BinanceUS domains, which can only be created through the Binance.US app. Unstoppable has previously partnered with a number of Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency companies, including Polygon, to provide the ability to mint “.polygon” Web3 domains.
Unstoppable Domains and Ethereum Name Service (ENS) have seen burgeoning user numbers through 2022 and 2023 as demand for Web3 services continues to grow.
The American cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has also partnered with a decentralized domain service provider to provide users with free.cb.id usernames as a replacement for alpha-numeric cryptocurrency wallet addresses.

This new partnership between Binance.US and Unstoppable Domains will provide a more accessible and user-friendly way for users to interact with cryptocurrencies and the broader Web3 ecosystem.
